It originated from creation of the British Institute of International Affairs on the British side (1920) and the Council of Foreign Relations on the American side. Today the Chatham House produces research on criti- cal global, regional and country-specific challenges and opportunities. It focuses on promoting international affairs and current issues, particularly on international security, energy and environment, economics and international law.
